Salesperson: Do you need a large screen?

Javier: Perfect. I’ll take the 17-inch meddle with 32GB, please.

Tips on Screen Size

Small screens, usually 11 to 13 inches, are light and easy to carry. They are great for students, travelers, and people who use their laptop in cafés or on trains. A small screen is good for checking email, browsing the internet, and watching short videos.

Medium screens, around 14 to 15 inches, are the most popular. They are comfortable to use at home, at school, or at work. This size is big enough to read documents, watch movies, and do office work, but still easy to carry.

Large screens, about 16 to 17 inches, give you more space to see everything clearly. They are perfect for watching videos, editing photos, and working with many windows at the same time. However, they are heavier and harder to carry.
