Personality

Haruka is quiet and shy. In class, she sits alone and does not talk much. Then, a friendly woman named Emi comes to class. Emi smiles and sits next to Haruka.​​

The teacher, Mr. Tanaka, is serious, but he is also patient. He helps Haruka speak more in class. 

Emi is talkative. She tells many small stories about her life. Haruka listens. Emi thinks Haruka is very kind. Slowly, Haruka starts to talk a little, too.​

Sometimes Haruka feels impatient with herself, but Emi supports her. They become good friends.​
