The Swimming Competition

Last Sunday, Haruki went to the city pool for his first swimming competition.
He woke up early, ate breakfast, and checked his bag twice.
When he arrived, the pool was already full of people.
Children were warming up in the water, and coaches were shouting instructions.
Haruki had practiced every morning for two months, so he felt confident.
During his race, he swam as fast as he could, but halfway through, his goggles slipped.
He kept swimming and finished in third place!
After the race, he was smiling even though he was tired.
He had never felt so proud before.
